Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated June 10, 2026.

You can delete the data Shuttergen holds about you at any time. This page explains how, including for data Shuttergen received through a platform you connected to your account (such as Meta, Shopify, Google, Canva, or Triple Whale).

Disconnect a Connected Platform

To remove a platform connection and the credentials associated with it, go to Dashboard → Settings → Integrations and click Disconnecton the relevant integration. Disconnecting revokes Shuttergen's access tokens for that platform and deletes them from our systems. Analytics data previously synced from that platform is deleted within 30 days of disconnection.

Delete Your Entire Account

Email support@shuttergen.com with the subject "Account deletion request" from the email address associated with your account. We soft-delete your account immediately (you lose access and your data is no longer used to provide the Services), then permanently delete it from our active systems within 30 days. Residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten on our backup rotation schedule. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Platform-Specific Requests

If you removed Shuttergen's access from within a platform (for example, in your Meta Business settings or Shopify admin) and also want the data already synced to Shuttergen deleted, email support@shuttergen.com naming the platform. We will confirm deletion within 30 days. Shopify merchants do not need to take this step: uninstalling the Shuttergen app triggers automatic deletion of store data via Shopify's redaction process.
